Building a Student Support System using Sociometry

Abstract: The paper describes the development of an effective student support system in a senior high school with 80 teachers and 1400 students in the age group of 13 to 18 years. The support system is constructed using the principles of sociometry. The data collected during the process of setting up the system and implications of the findings are discussed.
