Board of Examiners

AANZPA’s Board of Examiners is appointed by the Executive according to the Objects of AANZPA, Inc. Amongst other activities, the Board accredits Training Institutes and Campuses throughout Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

Accredited training bodies satisfy the standards set out in the AANZPA Training and Standards Manual and are subject to regular reviews. Thorough training and supervision and rigorous assessment and certification procedures, lead to a high level of practitioner competence.

The Board of Examiners also establishes and maintains requirements for certification as a Trainer, Educator and Practitioner (TEP) and issues a current practice certificate annually to each certificated Practitioner or Trainer (TEP) in good standing.

AANZPA, Inc., is a constituent member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia, Inc., (PACFA).

The Board of Examiners consists of the Secretary, Thesis Registrar, Practical Assessment Registrar and the Australian and Aotearoa   New Zealand Treasurers.

Psychodrama Australia

Psychodrama Australia seeks to awaken and strengthen the abilities of people in many settings to express themselves relevantly, responsively and creatively in the ordinary here and now situations in which they live and work. Training is pertinent to people interested in enlivening personal, interpersonal and group functioning in the fields of health, education, organisational development and creative arts.

Psychodrama in New Zealand

Psychodrama in New Zealand is a federation of psychodrama training Institutes in Aotearoa New Zealand. The federation is a part of the Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand Psychodrama Association Inc (AANZPA Inc).
