One of the objects of the Association is "To promote the establishment and reputation of psychodrama, sociodrama, sociometry and role training in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand by establishing and monitoring a Code of Ethics for members of the Association practising psychodrama, sociodrama, sociometry or role training."

To this end, the Association has developed a Code of Ethics (PDF) and a Complaints Procedure (PDF).

The Code of Ethics provides guidelines for understanding ‘good practice’ that AANZPA has evolved over many years. It aims to reflect the ethical practices integrated into the training of practitioners and the ongoing practice of ordinary members.

The Complaints Procedure (PDF) gives us an orderly way to deal with any complaints received.

The Ethics Committee can be contacted by emailing or by using the form on the Contact page.
