Submit your Proposal for the 2026 Conference

Nau mai, haere mai! Here you’ll find the official Call for Expressions of Interest to offer a 1.5-hour or a 3-hour workshop at the AANZPA Conference 2026 in Wellington.

Our theme for the conference is: What is our work in the world?

This year’s conference theme serves as both an enquiry and a provocation. You are invited to pause and consider what we are already doing with individuals and groups, the roles we take on, the systems we challenge, the sparks we ignite, and the communities we care for.  At this conference, we aim to share our experiences with the psychodrama method with one another.

With this theme, we are also asking: what work is needed now? What is the call for us and for our potent method, grounded in spontaneity and creativity? What is needed to humanise systems, to step into the world of the other, to keep developing ourselves? What role can we play in Moreno’s call for a creative revolution?

We are calling you…

This question invites us to reflect on how we, as practitioners of the psychodrama method, engage with the world – where we apply the method, whom we reach, what we notice, the challenges we encounter, what needs attention, and the ways we choose to respond.

We are seeking sessions that align with this theme. These may involve workshops, presentations, panels, interviews or other creative forms that you would like to explore with others. They might cover:

  • the kind of work you’re doing and your application of the method
  • a new or emerging area of practice
  • a question or gap you see in the world that we can work with using psychodrama, sociodrama, role training or sociometry
  • a way of being or relating that you think is vital to how we show up in the world

Sessions will run for three hours, with a break included. We are keen that there is a full range of applications expressing the benefits of our method.

To express your interest, please complete our EOI  form below. EOIs are due by 1st September 2025, so we can begin curating the programme.
