Self-compassion workshop 23 August, 18 October and 22 November 2025 – choose one or multiple dates
Having worked as a therapist for ten years now, one thing I have learned, is that we could all do with a little more kindness.
I continue to learn and re-learn over and over again the incredible power that true self-compassion has for healing. I have also learned that compassion can be gentle, but it can also be fierce when it needs to be.
In these workshops there will be opportunities to work on any areas of your life that you’d like to develop, particularly areas where you might struggle to bring a feeling of kindness to yourself. We will use psychodramatic methods to bring these areas to life in the group and explore new creative and compassionate ways of being with ourselves and with others. Also, we will explore, how we can make a powerful difference in the world through staying present with ourselves and others in a fiercely compassionate way.
Vikki Baird is in her 7th year of training in psychodrama. She is currently writing her thesis and working towards final certification. Vikki has been working as a psychologist in private practice since 2015. She also works at Anxiety New Zealand Trust as a senior psychologist and clinical supervisor. Her areas of interest include working with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, attachment trauma, childhood emotional neglect, and relationship issues.
